Now before you read this you must know that I've only been in person to the Daytona SX, The Pontiac SX in 98, 2000 and the Troy and Steel City Nat's every year and so far Pontiac of 2000 was the worse.I would not even go if not for my son. I'll add more as I think of them and so fare I have more cons than pros, so you decide, or is it just the lack of brain cells of the MICHIGAN people ? who knows

PROS           

1.you get to see the race up close, not as close as a Nat. though, and a national is much funner.

2.maybe you'll get an autograph

3.you get to see all the pre show stuff

4.you don't have to wait a week to see it

5.some pretty cute scantily clad girls show up

6.you can take some nice pictures

7.you can sit pretty much where ever you want if you get there early enough

8.the smell of two stroke mixed race gas

9.at least its not as bad as the WWF,,   yet

CONS

1.you get to here all the immature drunks yell profanity at their most hated rider (normally I don't mind but when my son is there I mind.

2.you get to see all the immature drunks making stupid gestures to their most hated rider, ten years ago I would just have busted the guy in the mouth, but I'm a bit more mature than that now plus I have to set a good example for my son.

3.you get to sit and wait through a bunch of useless pre show stuff, see pro #3

4.you get ripped off by the food prices

5.you get to wait in long lines for the restroom

6.you get to wait in long lines for food

7.you get to be herded out of the stadium like cattle

8.you get to sit in the parking lot for about a hour or so if you lucky, waiting to get to the main road, with those same drunks from #'s1, 2 but now they are in 3 or 4000 lb. vehicles. brake torqing their tires while only a few feet behind other cars

9.you get to have shit thrown at you from #'s1 and 2  beach balls aren't to bad though

10.you get to have drinks spilled on you from #'s 1 and2

11.if you get up you loose you seat

12.you get to explain to your son why the above mentioned immature drunks are immature drunks, usually its because their college kids or post high school kids, either way they are little punks.

13. might get to run over a beer bottle in the parking lot

14.you get to have people stand up right in front of you, just when you're about to snap a picture, but I can live with that,its not on purpose

15.you have to were clothes if youre there, at home you can watch it naked  (if you want to)
